Example: 20x28 for 16x24: A 20x28 photo will fit the 20x28 frame exactly, the mat allows you display the 16x24 center dimensions of the picture. A 16x24 picture may also be taped to the back of the mat, before placing it into the frame. The frame itself is larger than the picture size by 0.75 inch on each side (e.g. the 20x28 frame will measure 21.5x29.5). The picture display area of the mat is slightly smaller than the photo size by 0.25 inch on each side, for holding purposes. (e.g. the 20x28 frame -16x24 mat will display 15.5x23.5). FULLY ASSEMBLED: The frames will arrive fully assembled (mat may be outside the frame), with display picture. Please hang these frames using the already installed back hooks.
