Unlike nylon, polypropylene doesn’t stretch. Created from high strength materials, it offers sturdiness from its woven design. Our polypro has a tensile strength of 4,700 pounds. We strongly recommend that you use no more than 25% of the tensile strength of any webbing. Tensile strength is the average breaking point under good conditions at the factory. For this webbing, we suggest using a hardware that is designed for 1 inch webbing. D-rings, buckles, triglides, etc., are sized by the webbing or straps that they are to be used with.
