Leather seat repair - Sixth Generation Legacy (2015 -2019

So I have a rip, now a hole in the driver's seat left bolster. It looks like a new seat cover is about $365. I would like to try a trim shop to see if they can do just that panel. Has anybody repaired anything like this?
