We proudly call our Jelly Candles the Eternity Candles because when cared for correctly, it should last you for many, many years to come. We recommend once you light your jelly candle for the first time and let the jelly wax pool - blow it out and place a silver lined tea light (we sell these separately) on top of the wick. As the jelly cools, it will form around the silver holder and keep the tea light in place. From then on, just replace the wax tea light when it burns out! The jelly will melt, cool and re-melt each time and it will hold it's delightful scent too! Just opening the lid will allow for the scent to fill a room. Gel wax is naturally a clear wax known for its slow burn ability and glowing effect. Gel wax also holds both its solid throw (unlit) and burn throw (light) fragrance better than most other waxes. Being a jelly candle - it will burn slowly and last a long time.There is extra scent added to these candles so you will smell the lovely aromatherapy as soon as you remove the lid. This fantastic scent will remain in the air long after it is burned. (Or just remove the lid and enjoy the scent unlit.) Each candle has extra therapeutic grade fragrance oils or pure essential oils so you will get the maximum enjoyment out of this scent without polluting the air around you.**Burning Instructions:The first time you light the candle, allow it to burn until the liquid wax covers the entire top of the candle. This breaking in process insures that it will perform better and more evenly throughout the life of the candle. This will insure a clean and efficient burning cycle for the life of the candle. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch. If you notice a large flame during burning, blow out the candle & trim the wick before re-lighting. Place burning candle on heat resistant surface. Never move a candle while hot or burning. Keep out of drafts. Keep out of reach of children. Burn long enough to achieve a melt pool that can be seen all the way around the surface each time. Or just remove the lid and enjoy the scent.
