Beads range in size from 8-12mm, with a slightly graduated pattern, culminating in a beautiful  vermeil clasp (gold coated sterling silver) with blue and purple enamel

This antique Chinese necklace is composed of genuine amethyst. Amethyst beads are carved with the good luck symbol and knotted on string. The necklace clasps in front with a beautiful, carved flower pendant. The deep purple amethyst flower is set into a decorative, chased flower setting. The back of the setting is stamped with Chinese characters inside a rectangle. The silver setting tested as sterling.
