The tips are solid and have a tightening hole near the threads. The set will come in a compact, red nylon, zippered case as shown. It will also include a tip sleeve that securely holds all 12 sets of tips, end stoppers, stitch markers, a mini needle gauge (it's so cute!) and three different cable lengths. The cables included in this set are 5, 6 and 8 (13cm, 15cm & 30cm) long and are the same diameter as the current red MINI cables. The 2 tips are solid and have a tightening hole near the threads. The 3 Tips are hollow. The set comes in a compact, blue nylon, zippered case as shown. It will also include a tip sleeve that securely holds all 10 sets of tips, end stoppers, stitch markers, a mini needle gauge (it's so cute!) and three different cable lengths. The cables included in this set are 5, 6 and 8 (13cm, 15cm & 30cm) long and are the same diameter as the current red SMALL cables. SHORTIE LARGE The NEW Shorties [L] extension set includes 3” (8 cm) long tips in sizes US9 – 11 (5.5 – 8 mm) and cables to make 12” (30 cm) or 14” (36 cm) long circulars. The set comes in a yellow pocket pouch and includes three of the new SWIV360 cables, stoppers, connectors, stitch markers, a needle gauge, heart-shaped rubber gripper and tip sleeve. This set is great for knitting sleeves in-the-round!
