This green feather boa is the lightest of our chandelle boas. Our thin feather boa measures 2 yards (6 ft) long, and approx 4-4.5 in diameter. This Zucker feather boa can be cut without unraveling as feathers are sewn on to a cotton cord.

Loose Goose Biot Feathers Dyed are approximately 6-8 inches long are narrow, hard, but flexible feathers about .25 inches wide. Our 1/4 lb of goose feathers are dyed, sold per color and yield about 500 pieces. When dyed, these feathers absorb a lot of deep, vibrant coloration. Biot feathers can also be curled or bent in a circle, which make the stiff fibers appear as sharp, jagged points. These feathers tend to be more curled when purchased as loose, and straighter when they are strung together.

Ostrich Drabs are approximately 9-12 long. The 1 piece and 12 piece packages are hand selected. The 1/4 lb ostrich feathers bulk contain approximately 100 pieces, non-selected.

Rooster Furnace (neck) Hackle Feathers 4-6 inches by 1 yard unit are strung (sewn) together near the tip of the quill. The body of Rooster hackle feathers are usually no wider than 1/2 and are soft and flexible, with very little fluff near the quill. These Feathers are thin and wispy (almost see through) thin, and and pointed at the tip. This style of feather identified as Furnace is slightly degraded to absorb rich color dyes but remain shiny.
