These popular fine brushes are made with coarse, stiff natural and synthetic hairs which give a crisp touch. Well suited to calligraphy or sketching. The central hairs are relatively stiff and gathered to form a tapered point. The outer hairs are softer and selected for their greater water-holding capacity and for smooth strokes. 9 and 1/2-inch long brush has a loop for hanging and a bush head that measures 3/8 x 2 inches.
