Our customers are always surprised at the strength of the clasps - our magnets are solid and strong. Once your bracelet is on, it stays put. While we handcraft all of our jewelry in California, Joan of Artware clasps are sourced in Europe due to their high quality material composition and the quality and strength of the magnets. The clasps are zinc plated with 99.9% sterling silver and free of lead, nickel, cadmium. They are also hypoallergenic.
