This handy mallet bottle opener is perfect for anyone in need of a unique handmade gift. Great to break out at BBQ or keep around the shop. The mallet can be used to open bottles and it’s functional enough to help with the odd job around the house now and then.
The hammer head has a powerful magnet hidden in it to allow it to stick to steel surfaces like your fridge or the side of a BBQ. Flip the hammer over and you have a convenient stand for your cell phone by using the small grove cut into the underside of the head. Or, if you have nothing metal nearby you can hand it up by using the pure leather lanyard at the end of the handle. Toss a carabiner on it and you can wear it from your belt like Thor himself!
The hammer body is solid American black walnut. The handle is attached by passing through the head and held in place with a padauk wood wedge. The hidden magnet is capped using a piece of maple wood, and the lanyard is real leather. This mallet is constructed the way a mallet should be.
