Custom Feathers has adult and juvenile wild turkey tail feathers from all three of the major subspecies, Eastern, Rio Grande and Merriams which are found in the US for sale.
These are the very largest,widest,longest and most extraordinary tail feathers that come through our hands! A very small percentage of tail feathers qualify for this product. They would make an outstanding canvas for your painting project.
Adult eastern tail feathers will range 16-18 inches in length and 2 1/2- 3 1/2 inches in width. They will have cinnamon to chocolate tips.

Adult merriam's tail feathers will range 16-18 inches in length and 2 1/2- 3 1/2 inches in width. They will have blonde to white tips. These tail feathers will be slightly less quality at an economical price.
Juvenile eastern tail feathers will be slightly shorter than the adult with a cinnamon to chocolate to tips but the same quality.
Juvenile eastern grade #2 tail feathers will be slightly shorter than the adult with a cinnamon to chocolate tips with a few flaws or blemishes.
Juvenile rio grande grade #1 tail feathers will be a little smaller than the adult with a carmel to blonde tips with the same quality as the adult feathers.
Juvenile rio grande grade #2 tail feathers will be a bit smaller than the adult with a carmel to blonde tips with a small amount of flaws or blemishes.
Juvenile merriam's grade #1 tail feathers will be a some smaller than the adult with a blonde to white tips.
