Johnson Paste Wax vs Renaissance Wax for preservation?? - EDGED

Does anyone use Johnson Paste Wax instead of Renaissance Wax for a light coat before storage? I’ve used it on pocket knives for sometime but never a bayonet. Any thoughts? It’s somewhat cheaper but what’s best is I have some in the shop now!
