The Veritas Narrow-Blade Head is designed to hold narrow blades square to the standard Mk.II honing guide. It works with the straight roller base and angle registration jig. This narrow-blade head clamps blades from the sides with parallel jaws to ensure they stay square to the jig. The jaws are also canted to keep blades centered and tight to the reference face of the jig, whether they have beveled or square edges.
