Our favorite UV-cure resin for fly tying. Use it to create heads with eyes, build bodies on surf candies, epoxy sandeels, etc The "Thin-Hard" version is approximately the same viscosity as 10 wt. motor oil. It is easy to apply a thin, glossy clear finish. The "F-L-E-X" version is great for all kinds of flies, it is especially valuable for anglers who fish around structure as it is less likely to crack or brake after an accidental encounter with a rock or jetty. It can also be used to repair waders or coat knots. *Tying note, this resin requires slightly more irradiation than other resins to fully cure, give it some extra time under your UV light*. Solarez UV Cure Resin is a clear, non yellowing mix of high strength polyester resin. No mixing is required and it cures quickly under UV light. Work with it as long as you need to as it will only cure when exposed to UV light. It is also great for repairing damaged flies or repairing home projects in a flash. All three of the Solarez fly-tie UV resins comes in a 5 gram tube (1/10 oz) with applicator tip - ample for many lures.

Tie-in Fold Over Eye Tabs are perfectly clear tabs to which 3D Adhesive Eyes or 3D Big Fish Eyes are attached. They will adhere without the use of any additional glue. You can tie them in before tying your fly or cut and tie in after the fly is finished. Folding them over a dab UV cure resin will add even more strength.
