Valves not quite what they used to be? Proper maintenance and cleaning are essential to keeping your valves in top condition and preventing plating wear. This bundle will take you one or two steps further than most generic care kits. So all you need for high notes is this valve oil, right? Ok, we're just kidding! Only practice and hard work will help brass players to develop their high range. Our 8VA valve oil is the same fantastic formula as Ultra Pure Professional valve oil. Classic Ultra-Pure Black Label Classic Valve Oil is a little thicker than standard valve oil and is designed for older horns with worn pistons or rotors. The thicker oil helps fill in the space between the valve and the casing and allows the valve to operate without any sticking. If you have an older instrument with worn valves, give Black Label Classic a try! Clean Stroke Valve Wash A quick and easy way to clean your valves and valve casings.Removes built up residue which contributes to less responsive valve action.CLEAN-STROKE Valve Wash is a specially formulated detergent made at the Warburton factory. I applied the valve wash over the course of about 3 days, for roughly 6-7 hours of practice time. The results were positive! After wiping off the valves and re-applying oil, the valves were definitely improved. Faster and smoother. Be advised though while good, this is a short term fix for sluggish valves.
