This Hat size reducer can be purchased to ensure of a proper fit for your hat. Please see listing photos for sizes available which are 1/2" which will add an extra inch and 1/4" which will add 1/2 extra inch in thickness and order accordingly. The reducer will be attacked to the hat prior to shipping, however as your child grows you can remove it and then of course the hat can be worn longer as they grow.
