This palette is a special set of six specially selected earth mineral color plus one blue created from man-made pigment. It is a handmade watercolor set of six individually wrapped half pans in a metal tin. Our watercolors are high quality, have excellent lightfastness and are non-toxic - cadmium, cobalt, lead and mercury free. This is a very limited edition. The metal tin is black, not white as on the picture. Colors included: ----------------------- Satin Ochre Red Earth Copper Red Phthalo Blue - synthetic pigment Raw Umber Burnt Umber ----------------------- All colors from this palette are produced from mineral pigments except the Phthalo Blue. Lightfastness: - for mineral pigments - 8. Mineral pigments are not as bright and saturated as synthetic pigments. Some of them especially Greens Earths does not have big tint strength. They are perfect for painting nature, autumns and will give antique look to your paintings. It is very easy to create a color harmony with them. Each colour palette comes with an empty 300g/m2, 100% cotton Fabriano cold pressed watercolour paper card ready to be painted by you. Our watercolours are handcrafted according to a traditional recipe from premium mineral pigments, pure gum arabic crystals, local organic honey, distilled water, glycerine, clove essential oil and preservative. There are no other additives or fillers. Watercolours are mulled by hand on a glass slab. Each pan is hand poured multiple times and dries for at least three weeks. Some bubbles and cracks are possible to occur - this product is made by hand, not produced in a factory. Note: Let the pans dry after painting before closing them into the box. To activate paints put a few drops in the pans and wait for 3-4 minutes. Safety precautions to using watercolor paints: Do not ingest, lick or put watercolor on your skin. Wash your hands after using watercolors. Do not use eating and drinking cups and plates for painting. Please keep children and pets away from the pans - they present a choking hazard and are not intended for use by children.
