Hello there, my crafty friends! Leica here, excited to share three card ideas using the Sealed For Christmas collection. Two have that cozy Christmas feel, while the other one is perfect for celebrating someone’s birthday. You can totally use this collection for other special occasions, too! Let’s talk about the first card. I had so much fun with the Sealed Christmas Sprigs Etched Dies. The poinsettia and cabbage rose shapes are just lovely. I used colorful paper from Spellbinders – Dahlia, Fern, Peridot, Pink Sand, and Rainforest. The shiny part at the middle of the flowers is made from gold foam sheets, and they twinkle so nicely. The card panel was cut with the biggest die from the Precision Layering A2 A Etched Dies. To make it more interesting, I added texture using the Evergreen 3D Embossing Folder. I wrapped up the flowers with the Sealed Twine Etched Dies, cut from Brushed Gold paper. And the final touch is the Merry Christmas Wax Seal Stamp in Gold Wax and I added some Precious Gold Cosmic Shimmer Vintage Mica Flakes. Now onto the second Christmas card. It’s all about the poinsettia and holly stems dies. I put them on panels cut with the Essential Modern Ovals dies. The smaller oval got a touch of gold elegance with the Glimmer Monoline Stars. The pink card part got a nice texture by running it through the die-cut machine using the Notched Corner Florals 3D Embossing Folder. And the final touch is the Merry Christmas Wax Seal Stamp in Green Wax and I added some Luna Silver Cosmic Shimmer Vintage Mica Flakes. And now, for the third card, which is all about birthdays! This time, I focused on the cabbage rose dies. I added some Glitter Bright Pink foam to the centers of the roses to make them stand out. For the sentiment, I used the Popular Sentiment Etched Dies for the “birthday” script. I cut it in Brushed Gold paper and a White Foam Sheet shadow. The word “happy” got some special attention – I hot-foiled it in gold on a strip of cardstock and foam-mounted it for dimension. The card panel was created by cutting the two largest dies from the Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies in Wild Berry cardstock. In the middle, I used the biggest die from the Essential Floral Reflection. That’s all for my cards. I hope I’ve sparked your creativity to try your own ideas with the Sealed For Christmas collection. You can cut out all sorts of shapes for a bouquet look, stack them for a 3D feel, or even add a wax seal and twine for a special touch. There are plenty of great ways to jazz up your festive projects!
