This is an adapter for the Ridgid 5 inch Orbital Sander to connect it to the Ridgid, Shop Vac, Craftsman, or Festool vacuum hose. -The Festool version connects to the 27 mm hose with a twist lock mechanism -The Ridgid, Shop Vac , Craftsman versions connects to the 1 1/4 (1.25), 1 7/8 (1.875) or 2 1/2 (2.5) inch hose ( this is the external diameter (OD) of the hose connector) - This has been tested on model R2601 / R2611 but this adapter should work for sanders with a 2 1/4 inch dust port. -This is a 3D printed custom part that fits perfectly and snugly. It provides much better dust removal when compared to the dust bag alone. -If in doubt, contact me and I'll work with you to find a suitable adapter for your vacuum and tool -I have created this myself and made sure that the fit is just right.
