You’ll save time, effort & waste and get gorgeous results every time. These are a mid range stencil not has thick as a 10mil stencil but not super thin like 5mil clear stencils. My personal favorite to use for my projects. Stencil Tips: 1: Make sure surface to be stenciled is clean, dry and not glossy. Any fabric should be prewashed 2: Place your stencil in position and secure stencil adhesive or painters tape. 3: Load paint onto stencil brush, roller, dauber or sponge. Dab off excess paint onto paper towel (remember less is more). It’s better to do 3 light layers of paint. If using a brush, hold like a pencil with bristles flat on surface. Start at the outside edges of the stencil and paint in a circular, clockwise motion moving toward the center. 4: Carefully remove stencil and allow paint to dry per paint manufacturers recommendations. Stencil Clean-Up: Cleaning your stencils is not necessary I have never cleaned any of my own personal stencils however it may help extend the life of your stencil if cleaned after each use. Stencil can be wiped clean with a paper towel. If paint has dried then clean with a paper towel dampened with a citrus based cleaner, latex paint remover or mineral spirits. My stencils are made to order after ordered production time is usually same day or next day. Once mailed shipping could take 2-5 days for first class and priority.
