I have chosen it because it gives better strength and durability for the sheath and belt loop. Meaning it can stand up to more abuse. ● Welt - the sheath has a leather strip between two layers helping to protect the stitching from your blade. ● Friction lock design - it holds tight to your duty knife's handle, so it's always there. ● Full-grain leather - in short, means that the outer layer of the skin is left natural after the tanning process. Its imperfections and pores, wrinkles, and scars are kept unchanged. They are left to tell the story of its uniqueness and quality. ● Burnished edges - The sheath has sealed and burnished edges. Of course, not just for the looks but to keep them from wearing down, and to repel moisture. ● Saddle-stitched - For the sturdiness.
