Three vintage millinery birds created in Japan over 65 years ago to adorn hats. These are in solid black and made with stiff biot feathers that are quite sturdy and hold their shape well. The bird measures about 4" long and 2" wide. There is some size variation in these as each was handmade. On a 2.5" paper-wrapped wire stem. Unused NOS. The paint has chipped off in places in the wings. You can use them in chippy condition, or re-blacken the bare spots with a black marker and make them look good as new once again.
