This bowl sparkles! I created this bowl out of mica earthenware clay. I threw it on an electrip pottery wheel. After trimming, I burnished the outside with matching terra sigilatta and burnished it. After a first firing, I glazed the interior with a turquoise food safe glaze. When the bowl is in the sunlight the mica sparkles. This bowl would be great as a display piece but is rugged enought to use in your kitchen as a serving bowl.Details: Measures 11 x 4.5 Holds approximately two quarts of food. Made with earthenware mica clay. *Shipping: All items are shipped via USPS standard shipping. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing before shipping. Please read shop policies for return and exchanges. Thank you for supporting my store and work! Yvonne
