Excellent for mixed media applications, the acrylic gloss medium and varnish has myriad uses. Traditionally this medium is mixed with acrylic paint for smoother brush strokes and a uniform gloss finish, or applied as a final gloss varnish. This medium thins with water and can also be used for glazing, as an adhesive, in thick applications in molds or armatures for a flexible, plastic-like effect, and in papier mache projects. This is the ideal primer for oil painting on vellum.
