The seal this chimney draft stopper creates stops drafts, odors, noise, and debris from coming into your home through the fireplace. It fits into the narrow part of the flue just above the firebox, and you can use it with or without a damper. The 12 x 20 chimney Flueblocker pressure fits into an 11 x 19 or smaller rectangular flue opening. Always get a rectangular draft stopper a couple of inches larger than your opening on both dimensions to ensure proper fit. You can trim it with scissors to accommodate sizing and hardware. Made of 100% Herdwick wool imported from England, the fireplace damper tool is naturally renewable, dense, durable, and rigid. For safety reasons, it's important to disable or remove a vented gas log before using this fireplace flue stopper.
