Past students, who now have soap businesses, use this same recipe (just varying scents & colors). The beauty of making soap is that YOU get to decide what to put into your soap. 💻 GET UNLIMITED ACCESS After this soap weekend is over, you retain unlimited access to the all printable Class Handouts, all Soapmaking Demo Videos, plus all Zoom Video Recordings (in case you miss any of the sessions below). Handouts can be downloaded, saved, & printed. Videos can be watched 24/7 with an internet connection. Group Zoom Sessions - Live with Lori Get LIVE access to Lori to ask questions & learn for 5 hours! During the days/times below, Lori will be available on ZOOM to answer questions, and offer guidance & support. Friday will be a prep hour with Q+A to make sure everyone is ready to go. Saturday, Lori will make a batch live on Zoom, and do Q+A. Sunday, Lori will unmold her soap and do more Q+A. You will make YOUR batches of CP soap any time that's convenient to you (we suggest on Saturday or Sunday, before the final Zoom session). If you plan your soapmaking sessions well, you can get your questions answered BEFORE you make soap, and AFTER, on Sunday. During Q+A we can troubleshoot any issues & even brag a bit about your beautiful soap. For anyone who can't make the live sessions, replays will be available within 1 week of the class. Here's The Schedule: 11/11/22, Friday: 5-6pm PT (8-9pm ET) - Let's Prep/Get Ready, with Q+A 11/12/22, Saturday: 12-2pm PT (3-5pm ET) - Lori's Live Soapmaking Demo 11/13/22, Sunday: 12-2pm PT (3-5pm ET) - More Q+A & Troubleshooting Make YOUR soap any convenient time (between Friday & Sunday sessions is best)! In order to make 40 soaps (to use up the 8 lbs of optional oil blend), you'll make 2 batches just like Lori does in the pre-recorded demo videos. If you don't give away all the soap for the holidays, you'll have soap that's good all year long! 📦 START EASILY - WITH OILS & LYE We partnered with NURTURE SOAP in Indiana to make getting started as easy as possible! You have the option to INCLUDE with your class registration the 2 main soapmaking components: 8 pounds of Soapmaking Oil Blend (click to see ingredients & check for allergies) AND 2 pounds of Sodium Hydroxide (Lye). Using an oil blend simplifies the entire process of making soap from scratch. To make unscented & uncolored soap (ideal for sensitive skin), the only other ingredient you'll need to buy is a gallon of distilled water.
