Weave a Fun Shaggy Pile This is part two, in part one I showed you how to make fringe with rya knots. Now I'm going to show you how to weave the knots into a shaggy pile. Later on in this post, I'll show you a fun way to make loopy pile too. This time I doubled the yarn to make a nice thick rya knot. I also changed directions, these knots are facing up on the loom. I did this to make the yarn want to stick up rather than hanging down like fringe. I also double the knots because two colors are fun. Don't you think so? Pack the row down. I don't put a rya knot on the first and last warp thread. I think it makes a neater edge. Otherwise, you'd have to wrap the weft
