SIZE: This listing is for a set of 20 blocks. You select the size of each block in the drop-down menu options and you will get 20 hand-painted blocks in that size. INSTALLATION: This collection is very simple to install. Rosemary will number the blocks according to what she would recommend for order of display, but you can hang them in any order that suits you. Pieces come ready to hang with a hole drilled in the back, and you easily hang them in a simple grid layout (all it takes is some good ol' nails, a measuring tape and a level). You'll be enjoying your original art made just for you in no time! PROCESS: The Poetic Blocks are conceptualized and handmade with lots of love and care. First, each block of wood is cut and sanded. We try to use re-purposed or up-cycled wood whenever possible. Once the pieces are prepped, each piece is individually painted with a rich blend of layers of paints. No two are alike. This collection has an outstanding shine and gloss. The blocks are finished using a special technique, with thick high gloss lacquer glaze. The end result is a spectacular finish of crisp color, richness and shine - just beautiful! The photos just do not do the detail justice. If you'd prefer no natural wood to show on these pieces, just let us know. *Since this original artwork is created by hand and and made-to-order, no two are exactly alike (that's what makes it special!) but yours will be very similar to the examples shown and just as beautiful.
