Corkboards are always essential. From the times I didn’t even know what is a corkboard, I have seen one large plank of thin wood slab laced with thick cardboard. By the time I realized its relevance in our day-to-day lives, I already knew how to make corkboards of varied sizes and utilize them to their full potential. It is a pretty easy task to start your DIY journey because it really doesn’t need much.  You don’t even realize the amount of information and fluidity of tasks that come along with the maintenance of a personal corkboard. From to-do lists to detailed architectural plans, you are free to open your windows of creativity with a corkboard that fits your imagination.  I have 2 cork boards in my apartment. One definitely goes into the kitchen. It is the perfect holder of everything that’s there inside, from spoons to light-weighted utensils. And of course, it is also my knife holder! The other belongs to my workspace. It is comparatively smaller in size, but substantial enough to hold all my clip notes and plans, submissions, random scribbles, you name it! You could easily hide a stained wall with an organizing board or a creative colorful scrap board.  All the more reason you should try this project is that it’s so easy and you can do so much so with less! Even if you like your things not exactly in tidy order, you could make very elegant key holders. But you must be wondering how much does it cost to make a medium-sized corkboard at home, right?  If you are really resourceful, you can finish up this project with less than ten dollars! All your project photos or kitchen recipes (don’t forget the annoying shopping lists!) in one place doesn’t that sound so convenient?  All you will need are some paint rollers, glue, some cardboard papers (preferably thick), paint rollers, pins, spray paint, and a cutting knife.    Most of the things are probably already there in your place! But you may need to buy the cork sheet from your nearest hardware store. Alternatively, a spare medium-sized picture frame will also work. So, let’s start digging into the project!
