Made from solid hardwood (not glued together thinner stock). Clear natural finish (not stained or painted). Sturdy and compact. Built to last many years of use. Super easy to use. No assembling required, ready for immediate use. Just transfer your yarn/wool balls to wooden spindle and start crocheting or knitting Yarn can be easily added or removed from the spindle. The base sits on the work surface and is held in place with grip pads. The grip pads keep the yarn holder from slipping around and will not scratch or mar the work surface.
