For firm seat cushions on furniture for home, marine.  This is our #1 Selling foam. High Density Polyurethane Antimicrobial Foam is the best choice when you need a high-quality, long-lasting and dependable foam ideal for heavy-use applications. Its density means it will provide excellent support while still delivering on comfort, making it ideal for high-traffic seating cushions (such as couches and sofas), benches, cabin seating and sleeping berths, automotive seating and certain outdoor cushions. Its antimicrobial properties help prevent the growth of mold and mildew. For outdoor use, Antimicrobial High Density foam can be used, and silk film should be wrapped around the foam to help keep moisture out. Also use an upholstery fabric that has high water resistance or can be treated with a waterproofing solution. High Density Polyurethane Antimicrobial Foam will typically last up to 12 years. It

It has a firm stiffness, a density of 2.3 pounds per cubic foot and a foam IFD (Indentation Force Deflection) of 50 pounds. We have numerous foam saws that cuts through a full range of foam types. A standard electric kitchen knife can also be used, though the results won’t look as professional. To glue two pieces of foam together, we recommends using our Ram-Tack spray adhesive. Foam can also be glued on the sides to make a wider piece or layered to make thicker cushions. Important: Items are compressed for shipping, we recommend unrolling as soon as possible. Compressed foam takes up to a week to regain its original size and shape. Allow foam to fully decompress before cutting or using in a project. Standard length and width: 82 X 24 Thicknesses Available: 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Need help with choosing the right foam? See our Buyers Guide to Foam Products.
