NEWHAVEN, CT. and with serial number 2021 in front of the receiver, barrel with folding tangent sight and side mounted sling loop; brass frame with area of decorative engraving behind the feed area and stamped behind the trigger 22426; walnut stock the left side of the butt with carved and red sealing wax inlaid Confederate flag-style device with indistinct letters on the quarters; brass butt plate with hinged cleaning rod compartment containing a four-section steel rod with brass head and slotted end.
