Mix the alginate moulding powder with water. Insert hands into the moulding bucket. After about 1 minute the mould will set. Individually remove hands from the mould. 2. Mix the bag of stonecast plaster with water. Pour the mixture into the mould. Let the mixture harden for 2 hours. 3. Break away the mould to reveal your cast. 4. Remove any small pieces of alginate or clean up the cast if needed with the tools provided. 5. Leave to dry and then seal with a white matt sealant. ____________________________________________ [CASTING MATERIALS] Skin-safe Chromatic ALGINATE is an excellent impression mould-making material. Alginate picks up all of the fine lines and wrinkle details of skin. Alginate is easy to use because it changes colour during the mixing and setting process giving you visible notice of how much time is left to do each stage.
