With the advent of 40-degree weather in Lincoln last week, I decided it was time to put my Carhartt and flannels away for the springtime. In doing this, I discovered that the rest of my closet was filled with nothing but jeans and short-sleeved shirts. I needed clothes that would keep me warm on 40-degree days and cool on 60-degree days. As a broke college student, name-brand clothing was out of the question. One shirt or pair of pants was not worth 10 percent of my paycheck.
