This one-of-a-kind, handmade bowl has been broken and mended in the traditional Kintsugi method, using modern materials and powdered gold brass imported from Japan. • 5.25 inches or 13.3 centimeters wide • 3 inches or 7.6 centimeters tall • Deep red and gold hues; round-shaped bowl • Broken and mended with authentic gold brass imported from Japan • Raku inspired process created deep, rich colors Each clay piece is formed by human hands and glazed with intense color by natural resources. Much like the human race, no two are ever the same. Our Raku-fired and inspired Kintsugi pieces are meant to symbolize that when our ease is interrupted by trauma or pain, we can mend and bring ourselves back to beauty, often with spectacular results. We import genuine gold brass from Japan and emulate the traditional process to create authentic Kintsugi pieces. Because of the metal content of these elements, our pieces are meant for display only and can not be used for food purposes.
