VERY Country French, a girl weaves flowers while her lamb snuggles in close. Very likely the needlework project of a child learning her various needle arts.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type, Mid-1800s, the dyed wool yarns are surprisingly supple and without odor or moth damage. No holes, fading perhaps of the background yarn but not the others, as you can see from the view of the backside.
