Universal Escutcheon Extender Expansion Ring, 4 1/2" Flat - Available In Multiple Colors Inside Diameter - 1 15/16" Outside Diameter - 4 1/2" Depth - 1/8" Available In The Following Colors and Sizes: 4 1/2 Inch Outside Diameter Flat Plate Chrome White Escutcheon extension rings are commonly referred to as expansion plates, extender rings, or escutcheon expander plates are used to extend the existing escutcheon out to cover holes in the ceiling that are larger than the existing escutcheon.  These can be installed around the escutcheon.  These are an easy alternative to having to repair the ceiling.  Verify that your existing escutcheon inside diameter is smaller than 1 15/16" in order to fit inside this ring.
