Thank you for visiting my shop. Donna These handcrafted shawl pins are made with love on our farm, Twin Creeks Llamas. Each is unique due to the individual character of the wood, the grain, and the stain used. This pin is reminiscent of the retro Cat Eye shaped eye glasses. You might call it a swish, or a swirl, or a wing. It is cut from exotic zebra wood and hand rubbed to a delicate luster with a Danish oil finish allowing the rich grain of the natural wood to show through. There is no color or stain added to this pin. The variations in color in the photos are due to varying lighting conditions. All of the edges have been slightly rounded off, and the pin is polished to a satin smoothness so as not to cause any damage your knitwear. This pin is a larger size and would look beautiful on a shawl, scarf or as a decorative pin on a sweater. You can also use the pin alone for a simple closure. The size of the pin is 4" long and 1.75" tall. The stick pin is 5” long. Makes a distintive gift for yourself or a friend.
