The exit kit can accommodate corrugated and ribbed roofs, flat roofs as well as roofs with a pitch up to a 45 degrees angle. Also applicable for closed spaces like vans.  
Pipe Calculation   Discrete and easy to install, our roof exit kit contains all the parts needed to exit your flue system safely through the roof. The kit can accommodate a roof pitch up to 40 degrees and is designed for most roof materials - corrugated, ribbed metal and other flat surfaces. The insulated pipe keeps the flue pipe from cooling and reduces creosote build up in your pipes. The rain cap acts as a spark arrester and stops rain from entering your flue, and happens to look charming as well . Got a shingled roof? Use our Shingled Roof Exit Kit. Please note that there is no 3” flue pipe included in this kit!!!!! Features   The 5 insulated pipe must have 3 flue pipe running through it. It reduces the surface temperature of the pipe as it goes through your roof and ceiling.  It keeps the flue gas temperatures nice and hot, which reduces creosote buildup and improves efficiency. Support brackets hold the 5 insulated pipe in place at the center of the hole. The rubber boot makes the exit waterproof. The rain cap prevents water from going down the pipe and acts as a spark arrester. The trim plate covers the gap between the 5 pipe and 7 hole visible from the inside. The kit is offered with either 1 x 24 insulated pipe or 2 x 12 insulated pipes. The 2 x 12 option allows you to remove a section from the outside and have a lower profile when driving. In this case, you will need a flexible rubber pipe plug to plug the pipe while driving or when the stove is not in use. The 3 -  5 ( 7.62 cm - 12.7 cm ) adapter covers the gap between the 3 and 5 ( 7.62 cm and 12.7 cm ) pipes. Dimensions   5 pipe either 1 x 24 long or 2 x 12 long Rain cap 5 1/4 height, 5 7/8 wide top plate, and 5 wide base Trim plate 9 wide, 8 to 10 1/4 long (good for ceiling angle up to 45 degrees.) Support brackets 1 wide and 2 long Boot 11 x 11 base plate 3 - 5 Adapter 5 wide and 1 1/2 tall Specifics   The 3” ( 7.62 cm ) pipe does not come with this kit. The 3” 9 7.62 cm ) pipe goes through the 5” ( 12.7 cm) insulated pipe (like a sleeve).  It does not stop where the 5” ( 12.7 cm ) pipe begins. The 5” ( 12.7 cm ) insulated pipe starts 2” ( 5.08 cm ) below your ceiling and terminates 1.5 inches below where the 3 pipe ends.  If you need more than 24” ( 60.96 cm ) of insulated pipe, you can add extra sections. The 3” ( 7.62 cm ) pipe goes from the top of the stove to the same 1' ( 30.48 cm ) mark above the highest point of the roof where the 5” ( 12.7 cm ) pipe terminates.
