The full-line resin selection is aimed to produce composites parts and tools of the utmost quality specifications meeting a wide range of applications based on the customer's need. This 2-Part Epoxy Tooling Putty system used to quickly and effectively produce molds. Simply mix part A to B at a 1:1 ratio and then press the material onto the plug to make a mold. The versatility of this system mitigates labor hours spent on traditional tooling layup methods. This tooling putty is unique to mold making because it has the distinct ability to adjust viscosity on the fly. As the resin is mixed more with the hardener the tooling putty will become less viscous as micro bubbles are popped in the mixture. In other words, this allows for a custom formulation tailored to your filling or molding need. Once the putty has been cured, it can be machined, drilled, or tapped as needed. Add in thermal properties as high as 200°F and you have high quality system that is a step above the rest. Each 1 Gallon Kit (1/2-Gal A, 1/2-Gal B) will yield enough for 2.5 sq ft at 1/2″ thickness. Each 2 Gallon Kit (1-Gal A, 1-Gal B) will yield enough for 5 sq ft at 1/2″ thickness. Each 10 Gallon Kit (5-Gal A, 5-Gal B) will yield enough for 13 sq ft at 1/2″ thickness (Special Order Only, please contact us for availability) RDR-6002 & RDH-6002 mixed at 1:1 will yield a pot life of 120 minutes at room temperature.
