Slick Stick is a super primer product. Use Slick Stick on surfaces paints/primers won't normally adhere to. Slick Stick allows you to paint shiny, slick, or slippery surfaces with ease! Surfaces like PVC, glass, Formica, laminate, metal, and more are easily painted and stay painted. Slick Stick is a problem solving product and not need for every project. First, clean your piece with White Lightning (a Dixie Belle TSP/Degreaser cleaner). Paint one coat of Slick Stick and let dry for 2-3 hours.

Create a chippy, textured and weathered look with Sea Spray, an all natural, texture additive. Mix two scoops of Sea Spray with 8 oz of the Dixie Belle Paint. If needed mix another 1/2 scoop until you achieve a thick, brownie batter-like consistency. Using a brush, dab and smooth the bristles to form crests and peaks, just like ocean waves. Once tacky, gently brush down the crests and peaks, calming the seas and creating texture.
