7 PINS, +one FREE PIN VISE (4" long) +one FREE gel-lined finger protector.—Highest possible quality cleaning pins. Two straight pins, Two tip pins, two round pins, one Gentle Wrecking Ball pin, for hard encrustations.—Extremely fine grit: Yellow band.—Extremely fine plus+ grit: White band. FREE pin vise is not available anywhere else, as it is custom adapted for both sides to fit the pins. Special price for the set of 7. Regular price: £13 per individual pin.—Most diamond pins in the market are NOT fit for coin cleaning, as they are very coarse (despite having yellow bands and being described as "very" or "extremely fine"), and will easily damage the metal and the patina. —These are the best possible diamond-dust pins for cleaning ancient coins. Virtually unbreakable shaft. The grit is fine enough for gently filing away the dirt without damaging the metal or the patina, as long as the cleaning is done properly.—The Gentle Wrecking Ball pin can be used for gently filing away dirt on the large fields of the coin, or can be used for gently rolling over very hard encrustations while exerting pressure.—The proper use of pins is detailed in my coin cleaning manual—The difference between yellow and white band pins is 5 Microns. Yellow-band pins should be used for thicker encrustations. White-band pins and point pins should be used for more precise, detailed cleaning, once larger encrustations are removed, if any. —The pins do wear down: Use them to file away earthen deposits, not for hard, mineralized encrustations. Use pressure rolling motion with round pins and Gentle Wrecking Ball pin for hard encrustations. When you purchase the kit or individual pins and/or download the manual, please keep in mind that you are agreeing to the disclaimers and warnings therein. By Saul Roll
