Spring daffodil slow stitching kit. A beginner's pack to get you started with slow stitching. This kit includes everything you need to lose yourself in the moment with the simple repetitive process of hand stitching as you create your own unique textile slow stitching project. There are no complicated rules to follow and no expectations to add to your already demanding life. You are the master of this simple creative process. Simply lay out or layer up your pieces in a pleasing arrangement - like a collage - and use your needle and thread to stitch together. Cut your fabrics however you wish to create your design. Large kit contains 12" x 12" canvas backing material Mixed selection of coordinating fabrics Embroidery needle with large eye 3 skeins of embroidery thread Lace and embellishments Hand printed lettering Two unique free motion machine embroidered pictures of daffodils on felt - designed and made by me. Photo images show an example of what you can expect in your package. ACTUAL CONTENTS WILL DIFFER SLIGHTLY. You will also need a pair of good, sharp scissors. Slow stitching does not have to be done on a hoop, but you may find it easier if you're a beginner as it holds your fabric taut. You may wish to pin your material in place while you stitch, but a glue stick works fine too. You can draw your own design in pencil on the backing material if you wish to experiment with different embroidery stitches or patterns, or if you're intending to create a scene. The kit includes a tip sheet for slow stitching. These are not instructions as the beauty of slow stitching is that you can create whatever you like without ever getting it 'wrong'. This kit is not intended for unsupervised children, however it is an excellent introduction to hand sewing with adult supervision.
