Can the Cricut Maker cut Felt? One thing I love about my Cricut Maker is that it opens the door to more possibilities of materials to be cut, including felt.
In this step-by-step tutorial, we'll show you how to make a beautiful felt banner with iron-on using your Cricut. To get started, place your felt on a fabric grip mat and load in your rotary blade for cutting. Then, use a standard grip mat to cut the iron-on, making sure to click on Mirror Image in Design Space and switch out the rotary blade for the fine point blade. After cutting, remove the iron-on from the mat and weed out the negative spaces of the design. Use the Cricut Easy Press to apply the iron-on by following Cricket's website instructions for perfect results. Finally, apply the banner to a piece of wood or towel using wood glue and twine to hang it up.
