There are 8 essential tools in this kit consisting of a potters rib, steel scraper, wood modeling tool, needle tool, ribbon tool, loop tool, hydra sponge and a wire clay cutter. The 5-1/2 loop and 8 ribbon tool have tempered steel blades with metal collars and laquered wood handles. The 4 potter's rib and 8 modeling tool are made of high quality wood, smoothly finished. The wire cutter uses stainless wire fastened to hardwood handles. The 6-3/4 needle tool has an aluminum handle and a sharp steel needle. The 3-3/4 steel scraper is made of a thin, flexible steel for shaping vases, bowls and other objects and the sponge is a 3 to 3-1/2 synthetic that provides a smooth finish to clay objects.
