Description

Original 1920's wood stove board made by Wabash Screen Door Company of Minneapolis, Minnesota. These were used to protect floors from the heat of the stove. The front is tin, rusted from many years of use but you can still make out the design printed on it. The back, which I used as the main photo, is made up of wood slats. Some are warped but it doesn't detract from the look. I see this being used as a wall hanging in a farmhouse-style or cottage-style kitchen or dining room. There are many possibilities for its use.
