Annie Sloan's Soft Wax is the perfect partner for Chalk Paint because they have been developed to work together. It can be used for protection and to give a beautiful mellow matte finish on painted furniture, cabinets, and walls. Soft Wax can be mixed with Chalk Paint make a colored wax- how amazing.How to Use: Apply Clear Wax with an Ultimate Wax Brush over dry Chalk Paint. The wax will appear to darken the paint, but on drying it won’t be so apparent. For a distressed finish, rub gently with fine sandpaper AFTER applying the Clear Wax (while wax is still wet), then wax again. For a more pronounced aged look use Dark Wax over the Clear Wax, working it into any brush textures and removing excess with the Clear Wax. Finally, buff with an Ultimate Buffing Brush. Application: Apply with a Waxing Brush and remove excess with Cheesecloth.
Black Chalk Paint Wax will give a cool, dark finish to your paintwork, bringing out texture in brushwork and mouldings, as well as darkening and enriching colours. Use it with Clear Chalk Paint Wax to seal and protect furniture and walls painted with Chalk Paint decorative paint. Available in 500ml and 120ml. After painting, seal indoor furniture with a thin base of Clear Chalk Paint Wax, removing any excess with a clean cloth.
