Back to Black is the second studio album by English recording artist Amy Winehouse. It was released on October 27, 2006 through Island Records. The title song "Back to Black" is thought to have been inspired by Amy's relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil. Amy had an affair with Fielder-Civil, when they were both in relationships with other people. Eventually Fielder-Civil went back to his ex-girlfriend whom he left for Winehouse ("You go back to her and I go back to black"). October 27, 2006
