Q-Snap Frame - 6x6, 8x8, 11x11, 11x17 and 17x17 (inches) Four plastic C-shaped clamps hold the fabric onto the four side bars. Tension is easy to adjust. Frame comes apart in seconds to store or to carry in practically any tote. Interchangeable with other sizes of Q-Snap needlework frames. Replacement clamps are available. The measurements are the outside edges of the frame when it is put together. The "working" area inside the frame is about two inches less. So a 6"x6" q-snap frame actually has about 4"x4" of working room inside the square.
