Circa 1890’s, this In Memory Of” locket is the perfect locket to hold pictures of those who have left this world. On the front of the locket is a decorative border with bright cut work and dots of white enamel that frame a black enamel panel and a banner containing the words In Memory Of”. The back is hand-engraved with a shield, fleur-de-lys, and angel wings. The locket opens up to reveal two panels for photos, with the original glass backed with finely ribbed black grosgrain.
